1/ What exactly is MONTREAL SMOKED MEAT ?
* Montreal Smoked Meat is from 100% beef brisket, specially spiced,
smoked then steamed for melt in your mouth freshness. All our
delicious sandwiches are then made to order and cut off the brisket
and stacked high between Rye bread.
2/ How many ounces of meat go into the giant MD sandwiches ?
* 8oz in the regular size and 10oz in the Super Sandwiches. We hope
you're really hungry !
3/ Who are some of the Corporate clients MD has served ?
* Montreal Deli has set up catering for Proctor and Gamble, Research
in Motion, TD Canada Trust, The Office Depot, and also many Rock Stars,
Movie stars, Sports stars and Film Crews. The list is long, we would
need a 50 page web site.
4/ How long is the wait for food on a lunch hour ?
* Between 10 to 15 minutes depending on the dish
5/ Is the Montreal Deli a Franchise?
* Montreal Deli is a franchise in the works. There are now 2 Montreal
Deli locations in Mississauga and Richmond Hill and we are currently
scouting for more locations.
6/ What are the most important things to the success of the Montreal
Deli ?
* Giving people the family touch is very important. Allot of care goes
into the preparation and service of our food and these are high
standards that have been established over many years of experience.
The success of our business is largely based on word of mouth and
repeat business.
8/ Have you catered to any large special events?
* Our second home is an annual set up at the CNE (Canadian National
Exhibition) with 2 Montreal Deli booths in the food building and we
are also involved with the International Beer Festival and large
fundraisers like Mississauga's Trillium Center where we have raised
over $100,000 towards the hospital in the past few years. This has
been an honor for us as we are overwhelmed with the support
the Mississauga and Richmond Hill communities have given MD so it's
great to contribute to much needed health care.
9/ I'm on a diet do you only serve French Fries with your meals ?
* As well as our award winning Sandwiches you can also get potatoes of
the day, choice of
roast potatoes or mashed. Many other dishes such as fish, Souvlaki,
Greek and chef salads,
homemade soups, Steaks dinners, are on our menu.
10/ Is the Montreal Deli primarily for families ?
*
No. The MD was originally launched as a family restaurant but it has
been embraced
by the business community. At least 75% of the diners at Montreal
Deli's 2 locations
are local business people. There are also many families with kids who
come to the deli
but usually on weekends. People of all ages love the MD including our
health conscious seniors.
11/ Is the Montreal Deli a loud or quiet place ?
* Montreal Deli has a
very relaxed atmosphere and since many people have business lunches
there we usually don't play music in the background. When you
do hear music it is extremely quiet in the background. |
